Pyros is a 20-minute proof-of-concept short film which tells the true crime story of a youth gang burning stolen cars across their neighbourhoods, the factors instigating the crimes, and how the various emergency services responded to the crisis.

In August 2020, Rodwell became attached to the ABC television drama series Fires (2021), created by Tony Ayres and Belinda Chayko. Rodwell was responsible for curating and licensing his mega-fires footage initially shot for Inferno and repurposing the footage for Fires to help portray the horrific actuality and intensity of the real events.

Rodwell has produced innovative content for Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Tony Ayres Productions, NSW Rural Fire Service, NSW Police Force, NSW Education, Orange Regional Museum and Parkes Shire Council.

Inferno received Oscar® accreditation and was longlisted for an Academy Award® for Best Documentary (Short Subject) nomination for 2023.

Rodwell was awarded
2022 Young Citizen of the Year (Highly Commended) by Orange City Council for his filmmaking achievements, bravery and inspirational determination making Inferno on the firefighting frontlines.
